Recently, VMware has released  their new IT product which is mobile device software with dual persona. The software is offered and suited with some Android Operating System (OS)-based devices especially for Verizon smartphones.

The new technology of dual persona is very important and special because it consists of two OS instances which are purposely for business and personal use.

VMware has created two different containers for business or formal usage and for personal use. It is important to have different containers in order to avoid from data leakage and keep the private and confidential information of any individual on the same device. Security for Android devices is enforced by isolating personal and corporate assets and encrypting all corporate assets that reside on the device.

This dual persona new application is also known as VMware Horizon Mobile and it is now already being used by the users of LG Intuition and also Motorola Razr M smartphones. However, many smartphone users are not aware with existence of this new application.

The other advancement of this technology offered by VMware is that there is no special device or hardware required in order to use the application. There two basic things needed which are, a single core processor and RAM of 1GB-capacity. This application is one step advance compared to the dual persona smartphone's software offered by Red Bend which offers the application through a special hardware. It is quite complicated for users to get it compared to the software which is available from VMware's website.

p/s: VMware is the global leader in visualization and cloud infrastructure. They also delivers customers' solutions to accelerate IT development.

Rec Bend is the software solutions provider to manage firmware, applications and devices over the air.
